The Professional Conductors’ Association (PCA) listens to, represents, and works on behalf of conductors, conductor assistants, and all professionals working within Conductive Education (CE), supporting them throughout their working lives. The PCA promotes the professional status of conductors by setting expectations for continual professional development (CPD) for its members and encouraging wider learning opportunities. It nurtures a dynamic UK-wide network of conductors and CE professionals, enabling the sharing of information, expertise, and professional discussion. The Association provides and upholds the Code of Practice and Professional Standards for Conductors in the UK, produces advisory publications and guidance materials on key areas of practice, and publishes articles on current CE-related issues. The PCA also supports the delivery of the Annual CE Conference, open to everyone with an interest in Conductive Education, and actively supports Conductive Education Awareness Week each year through shared media activity and engagement.
